TICKETS FAQ

WHAT DOES AN ALL-ACCESS PASS INCLUDE?

An all-access pass grants entry to all festival screenings and the Saturday night fundraiser reception. Pass holders will have an exclusive line to expedite theater entry, enabling them to bypass longer lines during popular screenings. A seat at every event is guaranteed for pass holders until ten minutes before the event’s start when the rush line opens. All-access passes cost $75 and are available here.

How much do tickets cost?

General admission tickets are $10, $5, or free depending on the event. William & Mary student tickets receive free admission to all festival screenings at the Kimball Theatre.

How can I pay for tickets?

Cash and major credit cards are accepted. All sales are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges.

What if an event is sold out?

Unclaimed tickets may become available at the door. Here are the details:

  • Ten minutes before an event begins, we will sell unclaimed tickets to patrons waiting in a rush line.
  • We do not have control over when rush lines will form and cannot advise patrons on an arrival time to join or form a line.
  • Saving places in a rush line is not permitted. A maximum of two tickets per person will be sold.
  • There is no guarantee we will have unclaimed tickets at the door, however a small number of tickets will likely be available for each sold-out event.

Can I get tickets during the festival?

Yes! During the festival tickets may be purchased at the Kimball Theatre Box Office located at 428 W. Duke of Gloucester Street Williamsburg, VA.

Are concessions available at the Kimball Theatre?

Yes! The Kimball Theatre concessions stand is open one hour prior to each program.  Soft drinks, beer, wine, coffee, popcorn, and candy are available for purchase.  Cash, credit cards, W&M Express, and Dining Dollars are accepted. Dining Dollars may not be used for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. VA ABC laws including ID checks are enforced, and alcoholic beverages may not be taken outside the theater.

Anything else I need to know?

  • Most events and screenings require either a ticket or a pass. Doors open at least twenty minutes prior to each program. The theatre will be cleared after each event.
  • Ticket holders must be in the theatre ten minutes prior to the program’s start to guarantee their seats.
  • Arrive on time! Admission to theaters may be restricted after the event has begun.
  • A rush line will be available to fill seats for any sold-out screenings.
